Roots Farm Vermicomposting Classes

Roots Farm is hosting a series of hands-on vermicomposting classes designed to help community members turn food scraps into nutrient-rich compost while reducing landfill waste. These practical, beginner-friendly workshops teach simple, low-cost worm composting systems that build healthy soil, support local food production, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Whether you're a home gardener, small farmer, educator, or simply curious about sustainable waste solutions, you’ll leave with the knowledge and confidence to start composting with worms right away.

Spots are limited. See below to register through Eventbrite.

These classes are funded by a Public Participation Grant (PPG) from the Washington State Department of Ecology and fiscally sponsored by Kitsap Community & Agricultural Alliance (KCAA).
